Audi presented today (24 October 2007) at the Tokyo Motor Show a vehicle with the new hybrid drive called Quattro Metro Project.
Under the hood is a 1.4 liter large TFSI-Motor with 110 kW/150 hp for the front wheel drive. An electrical unit with 30 kW/41 hp delivers acceleration in phases up to 200 Nm additional torque to the rear axle.
The compact Audi with 3.91 meters in length may also be in pure electric operation. The range of lithium-ion batteries lasts for up to 100 km route. The batteries can be charged at each outlet. Thanks Start-/Stopp-Automatik and E-Modus reduced consumption and emissions by around 15%.

The Audi Quattro Metro Project is 210 km / h and accelerates quickly in 7.8 seconds from 0 to 100 km / h. The study aims at 4.9 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers paraphernalia. The CO2 emission is just 112 g / km
